About StudyPlan

StudyPlan exists because "study harder" is not a plan — hours, dates, and review intervals are.

The research on learning is unusually clear: spaced repetition beats cramming, practice testing beats rereading, and a schedule you can hold beats an ambitious one you abandon. The calculators convert those findings into your calendar — days to exam, hours available, topics to cover.

The other two questions are grade arithmetic: your GPA on the 4.0 scale, and the exact score your final exam requires for a target grade — the number that turns exam anxiety into a study target.

We are educators and former students, not a tutoring company. Nothing here sells courses, and the math runs in your browser.

What makes StudyPlan different

  • Your numbers never leave your browser. Every calculator on StudyPlan runs entirely on your device. We never see, store, or transmit the figures you enter — there are no accounts and no server-side processing of your inputs.
  • Published methodology. Each calculator page explains the exact formula it uses and the assumptions behind it, so you can check our work or reproduce it in a spreadsheet.
  • Free, forever, without a paywall. StudyPlan is supported by advertising. There is no premium tier, no email gate, and no upsell.

Independence

StudyPlan is an independent educational project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any government agency, lender, insurer, or the organizations whose formulas and public data we reference (such as spaced-repetition research and standard US grading conventions).
